The upper dishrack roller wheel clips directly onto the side wire frame of the top rack assembly, fitting inside the cabinet rails to let the rack roll smoothly in and out of the tub. Made of heavy-duty molded plastic, these wheels are under constant exposure to high temperatures, heavy dish loads, and chemical detergents. Over time, the material can fatigue, crack, break, or drop off its structural bushing entirely. Common signs that a roller needs to be replaced include a top dishrack that jams, slides unevenly, falls off its tracks, or sits lopsided inside the machine.
