This genuine OEM shipping bolt assembly (also known as a transit bolt or tub fixer) is specifically engineered to hold the washing machine's internal tub and basket firmly in place during relocation, shipping, or transport. By locking down the suspension, it prevents the heavy wash tub from violently vibrating or slamming against the internal chassis, which can break the shock absorbers, tub springs, or drive motor. These bolts must be completely removed once the appliance is installed in its final location and before running a cycle. Operating the washing machine with shipping bolts still installed will cause severe violent shaking, extreme noise, and immediate mechanical failure.
