Purpose

This genuine OEM burner igniter is designed for select LG and Kenmore gas dryer models. It mounts to the burner assembly and, when heated, causes the gas valve to open and the burner flame to ignite. If this igniter fails, common symptoms include the dryer not producing heat, taking excessive time to dry, or showing error codes related to ignition.
